Corporate wellness programmes in India · Businesses That Care
Others smooth over the knots. We untangle them.
Wellbeing that does not just add happiness. It removes stress at its source.
In short
A corporate wellness programme in India is a set of mental health and wellbeing initiatives an employer runs for its people, from stress assessments and workshops to counselling support. Aayina Therapy’s Businesses That Care programme is built by practising therapists around one idea: remove stress at its source, not just add happiness. We find the cause with Untangle, bring teams closer with hands-on Knit workshops, give every employee a confidential safety net with Weave, our EAP, and make change last with Stitch micro-habits. A team of 8 to 9 specialists leads the work, and every counsellor is vetted by us. Programmes for organisations in India start from ₹20,000 and are quoted after a short scoping conversation. International pricing differs.
Our approach
Not just adding happiness. Removing stress.
We are therapists first, so we start by understanding, not fixing. That is the only path to sustained wellness.
- 01We find the causeOthers soothe the stress. We trace it to where it starts.
- 02We stay till it is fixedNo report-and-leave. We put the solution in place with you.
- 03People learn by doingHands-on experiences, not lectures.
- 04Therapists at the coreA team of 8 to 9 specialists, led by therapists. Every counsellor is vetted by us.
- 05Change that lastsDaily habits, not a one-day high.
One thread runs through everything we do. Each service works on its own, and each makes the others stronger.

What is possible
Every organisation has knots. Here is what we did.
Real problems from Indian workplaces, what we found underneath, and what changed.
Managers were gatekeeping knowledge. Their teams had stopped growing.
The real knot: nothing rewarded a manager for building people, so they didn’t.
- Upward ratings, tied to increments. Teams rate how well their manager grows them, and it counts at appraisal.
- “What do you need from me to complete this?” asked before every handover.
- A daily morning huddle. Every ask, owner and deadline on record.
- Leaders went first, modelling shared responsibility.
- Knowledge flows down, not up
- Juniors own work sooner
- Managers measured on growing people
Every missed deadline turned into a blame game.
The real knot: managers and employees carried two different job descriptions in their heads.
- The Role Mirror. Employees wrote down what they believe their role is. Managers wrote down what they expect.
- Mapped the gaps. Side by side, the mismatches showed exactly where work was falling through.
- Redrew ownership together. Every grey area got one named owner, agreed by both sides.
- A clear owner for every task
- Finger-pointing replaced by follow-through
- Fewer dropped handovers
A family-run business where no decision ever got made.
The real knot: unspoken resentment at the top turned every meeting into a stand-off.
- A weekly leadership circle. A meet-up every week, so issues never pile up.
- A “we listen, we don’t judge” round. Everyone speaks, uninterrupted, before anything is decided.
- Lighter by design. Playful formats that make honesty feel safe, not risky.
- One owner per decision, named before the meeting ends.
- Decisions made in the room, not the corridor
- Grievances aired early
- A leadership team that commits together
Good people were leaving within their first year.
The real knot: exit interviews said “better offer”. Stay conversations said “nobody noticed me”.
- Stay conversations, not just exit interviews. We asked the people who stayed what almost made them leave.
- A buddy from day one for every new joiner.
- Check-ins on day 7, 30 and 90, each with one question: “What’s missing for you here?”
- Problems caught while still fixable
- New joiners feel seen
- First-year attrition down 50%
